Dr. Kshitij Shah is an Associate Professor in the Department of ENT at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital in Mumbai, which is one of the major University teaching hospitals in the city. Dr. Kshitij Shah is an alumni of Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital & Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (Sion) & General Hospital. Dr. Kshitij Shah has also undergone training in Head & Neck Oncosurgery at the prestigious Cancer Institute – Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
Apart from being a doctor, Dr. Kshitij Shah is also a teacher for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS).
Dr. Kshitij Shah has also had the opportunity to serve as a ‘Clinical Observer’ in the Department of Cranial Base Surgery under the guidance of Prof. Carl Snyderman at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), Pittburgh, PA, USA in 2014.
In 2017, Dr. Kshitij Shah underwent training in ‘Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy’ under the guidance of Pol Maj Angkoon Anuwong at the Police General Hospital, in Bangkok, Thailand. With this extensive experience and training, Dr. Kshitij Shah is a highly skilled and accomplished professional in the field of ENT.

- First rank at the Post Graduate M.S. (ENT) examination and awarded the ‘The Late Seth Gagalbhai Natthubhai prize’ by the Mumbai University
- Gold medalist at the DORL examination and awarded ‘the Dr. Manubhai Mehta prize’ by the College of Physicians & Surgeons.

- Co-author of a chapter titled ‘Endoscopic Anatomy of the Paranasal Sinuses’ in the book ‘Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery’
- Co-author of a chapter titled ‘Foreign Bodies in Airway’ in a book.
- Author of a book titled 'Frontal Sinus Surgery: Predictive Factors of Surgical Outcome' which has been published by an international publication house in 2012.
- Keynote lecture on Juvenile Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma (JNA) at the 1st Congress of CEORL-HNS - Barcelona, Spain.
- Chairperson for the round table discussion on ‘Vestibular Schwannoma at the 1st Congress of CEORL-HNS - Barcelona. Spain.
- Second prize in the Consultants' award category at the MUMBAICON 2014 for his paper on 'Grade III/IV Laryngotracheal Stenosis: Re-establishing the Airway'.
- Numerous awards at the Mumbai (zonal) AOI conference and the Dr. Shirin Mehtaji competition.
Current Positions
- Program Co-ordinator for 'PromOTE INDIA- The ENT Wing' for Promotion of Oncology Training & Education in India (An initiative of Indian Cooperative Oncology Network).
- Member of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI), The Skull Base Surgery Society of India (SBSSI), The All India Rhinology Society (AIRS), The Indian Society of Otology (ISO) and the Cochlear Implant Group of India (CIGI).
- Honorary Secretary of AOI - Mumbai (West) branch from April 2014 to April 2016.
- Honorary President of AOI - Mumbai (West) branch from April 2018 to June 2020.
Royal College of Surgeons of Harvard
He then traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to complete a Fellowship in Intervention Cardiology at Hahnemann Hospital in conjunction with Drexel University, where he received extensive training in coronary as well as peripheral interventions and salvage procedures.

After relocating to Louisiana he served as Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. He was honored by the Medical Association for Physician's Recognition Award from March of 2015 through May 2016.
